LATISSE®, an FDA-approved prescription treatment for eyelash growth, not only increases the number of eyelashes, but also helps them grow longer, fuller, and darker.

How does it work? The active ingredient in LATISSE® – bimatoprost – is thought to increase the length of the eyelash growth phase and increase the number of hairs in the growth phase. In fact, bimatoprost is a form of glaucoma eye drop that has been used in ophthalmic treatments for high eye pressure since 2001. Patients and doctors noticed eyelash growth as a side effect of the solution, and the FDA approved it for this use in 2008.
